Institutional Recognition

Whereas the Ministry has duly examined the dossier presented by Muallimah University for Islamic Sciences, together with the particulars therein concerning its programmes and educational activities;

In recognition of the distinguished efforts devoted by the University to making the Islamic sciences accessible to women, to the preparation of female teachers, and to the broadening of access to sacred knowledge through modern means of education;

The Ministry of Islamic Affairs and Awqaf of the Republic of Djibouti is pleased to hereby express its formal recognition and support for the efforts of Muallimah University for Islamic Sciences in the field of distance Islamic education, and for its contribution to widening women’s access to learning and scholarly formation in the sacred sciences, most notably across the Muslim world.

The Ministry expresses its earnest hope that the University will continue its service to sacred knowledge, its advancement of educational excellence, and its upholding of the values of justice and uprightness, thereby contributing to the dissemination of beneficial Islamic knowledge and to the service of Muslim communities.

This document is hereby conferred in recognition of these efforts and of the certificates issued by the University across its various specialisations, and in support of educational initiatives dedicated to the dissemination of the Islamic sciences.
