Muallimah Institute is an accredited online one-year programme for Muslim women. In this policy “we” and “us” mean Muallimah Institute, and “you” means the woman who registers with us as a student.
When you enrol we collect your name, email address, phone number and payment information. Payment is handled by Stripe and card details are never stored on our servers. We also record your progress within the programme, your submitted assignments and the pages you view on the site.
We use this information to provide the programme, place you at the correct level, take payment, send you programme related messages, and improve the teaching. We do not sell your information to anyone.
We share information only with the service providers we use to run the programme: our payment processor Stripe, our hosting and database provider, and our email provider. Each of them handles your data under their own privacy terms, and only for the purpose of running Muallimah Institute.
We keep your account, assignments and progress data for as long as your enrolment is active. If you close your account we keep basic records for as long as we are required to for tax and legal reasons, then delete them.
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, or ask us to delete it. Write to us at support@muallimah.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.
For any privacy question please write to support@muallimah.com.
